One year after the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, Compete Proud and Fier-Play have joined forces to launch Proud Champions, a European network of LGBTIQ+ athletes and allies committed to building a sporting world where everyone can be themselves.

Compete Proud worked with EuroGames Lyon 2025 team and athlete ambassadors to elevate representation and amplify voices — both on stage and behind the scenes.

Pride House is coming to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, organized by local athletes and supported by Europe’s LGBTQ sports groups.

In a landmark move for visibility and inclusion, Spanish sport institutions joined the State LGBTI+ Pride March for the first time — in partnership with Compete Proud.
